A good place to sit and have a drink or to just walk through, interesting history. The steam clock is unique, not sure if there is another anywhere else.

Now a very trendy area of restaurants and tourist shops, also quite a few galleries. The hop-on hop-off bus stops here just near the unusual steam clock.

We visited Gastown a couple of times during our latest visit to Vancouver. The Steam Clock is the main attraction. There are many restaurants, eateries and souvenir shops. Nearby Canada Place is worth a visit.

Vancouve's Gastown has a myriad of restaurants and bars located easy walking distance from each other and most downtown hotels. There are at least a dozen of the top restaurants in this area. Wander too far east and things might get a little more rough and raw than you might like, though not unsafe.. Home to everything form West Coast to BBQ and cocktails to craft beer. It's a Vancouver must see.

There is an amazing clock that whistles and blows steam. The area is very quaint with great little shops
