“Pretty Good”

Lewis Estates Golf Course
Attraction details

We don't golf but we have eaten here a few times. The last time we sat on the patio. We started with sliders which were okay, nothing to brag about. I had the maple butter salmon which was pretty good but not outstanding. The salmon was cooked perfectly but it was a little too sweet for my tastes. I think they were a little heavy handed with the maple and not too much on the butter. It came with carrots and broccoli which was quite good - they were a little under cooked which is what I like. The rice was awful - I think it was a packaged microwave concoction. They should either have roasted or mashed potatoes and leave out the rice. My sister had the fish and chips. She thought the fish was a little heavy on the batter and the fries were way too salty - she was brushing salt off just to eat them. She only had a few. The service was very good, the staff were very friendly. This restaurant has the makings to be outstanding; they need to perhaps make some menu changes.

$92 for October golfing, when much nicer courses charge less than $70. Top 15 course in Edmonton, depending what you like maybe tenth best... but way too pricey.

Most people say the course is overpriced and they are very right. Should be in the $70 range when comparing to other Edmonton courses.... not nicer than sand piper or legends... around raven crest quality and smack in the middle of middle class 30 year old housing.

Course Marshall was also about as unfriendly as they come. Not a smile or a hurry up just silence and hatred for the world.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for forwarding your concern. We feel that our weekend primetime prices are well positioned with competitors and we do offer some great discounts on our non-peak times for our customers. We will be moving to our fall rates in the very near future.

Regards,

Jerry Linquist.
General Manager.

This is a nice challeging golf course in great condition. Marshall is always on the course and make sure the rules are follow. The best part about this course is: even on the weekend you are done your 18 holes between 4-4:30 hour.
