We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it was longer. Comfortable room, good breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was ok, about 15 minutes walk from the centre, but that was not a problem.
Would definitely recommend.

A very good quiet and comfortable stay.
Breakfast was included which was a good choice of buffet items.
The outside hot tub/fire pit area is very good for a late relax.
The hotel is a good walk into the main town area, but is very handy for local buses to town, the Gondola and Miniwanka lake.

My friends and I stayed at a double queen for 2 days. Room was modern, clean, spacious, and bed was very comfortable. It gets a bit dark in the room as there were no ceiling lights in our room but it wasn't a huge problem. We had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the hot tub for both days and nobody was using it except for us. Free smores were provided with fire pits in the court yard. And breakfast was amazing, it saved us so much time and money. Would denifitely come back again!

The suite was great!! It had everything we needed….full size fridge, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of space to accommodate 8 of us. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed one of the 2 hot tubs.

At check-in, we experienced a "hiccup" after booking through a 3rd party agency. Dan (front desk) was super helpful in rectifying the situation quickly and with excellent customer service. Canalta is a cute hotel with great amenities such as complimentary breakfast, hot tub, sauna, laundry, filtered water dispensers, and gym. Canalta is a quick 10 min walk to downtown Banff. If I return to Banff, I would stay here again!
