We have gone to the Mayan many times and I've never had a bad experience like I did up this resort. Part of my trip was paid for by business and we added a second room and an additional night. First, the check-in was slow and disorganized. Once we paid for the room on site which I will never do again, we were not even given an itemized receipt. Once we saw the charges for our room we realized we were overcharged. I have never had any issues in Mexico with my credit card and that's how they blamed it. Instead of charging us in US dollars they charge us in pesos and I don't understand their conversion but it was not in our favor. Even once they realized their staff overcharged us, they did not do one single thing to make up for it other than giving us a room credit. We purchased on another store. Same thing. Overcharged. The resort was beautiful. No issues with that. It was just management was not very empathetic. I would never allow them to charge on my credit card againMore
