My fiance brought me here as a surprise weekend away and we stayed in the Honey Hedge cottage. This place is BLISS! The cottage is beautiful, everything was been carefully thought out and the layout and decor is just stunning. There was a bottle of bubbly and strawberries waiting upon our arrival. I experienced something I never have done here too: Pure Silence. There are no roads, no towns, literally NOTHING nearby so it's completely quiet. The view out to the ocean over the cliffs are gorgeous too, especially on a clear day. Perfect for our weekend away to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is lovingly put together, and the hot tub is to die for! We spent most of our time in the hot tub, but if you'd rather be out and about there's plenty to do. They've put together a book on local walks and pubs and things to do and see, we tried the 20 minute walk but got lost and ended up god knows where! But that's the fun of it, the area is so staggeringly beautiful that you really WANT to get lost in it! Thank you so much Zoe and Phil, we can't wait to come back again soon!

We had a perfect stay. Zoe and Phil greeted us on our arrival showed us around The Dovecote, which is stunning just what we wanted for our honeymoon. Bubbly on ice, chocs, fresh strawberries, lit candles and a greeting card met us as we walked in.
That evening we were straight in the hot tub, perfect, relaxing and hot with sea views.
We would most definitely like to return.

We stayed here on the 30th May 16 after our wedding on the 28th. This place has to be seen to believed! The Dovecote is the cosiest most romantic cottage I have ever seen, from the Gothic candles, red bedding and gorgeous log fire which we lit each night and the hot tub is of high quality.
Zoe and Phil (only met Phil) think of everything right down to offering you wellies if you've forgotten a pair. We were so impressed we are going to try to come back every few years for our anniversary. Thanks again.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Cornwall, 1 week elsewhere and 1 week at Lamorna View. The First week was a nightmare, however when we arrived for the second week at Lamorna View it was by far the best experience I have ever had at any vacation spot. Staying at Honey Hedge was like staying with old friends and we were welcomed warmly like family.

Due to my wife becoming ill from the first week we had to stay in more than we planned on the second week, Zoe and Phil helped us in every possible way they could, nothing was to much trouble.

Their professionalism, their attention to detail, how the cottage was maintained, stocked and set up to welcome us left us smiling all week.

If you are looking for a quiet holiday spot for yourself and your other half, or you are looking for a beautiful honeymoon spot, please consider this venue. We are planning to go back next year for our 1 year anniversary and stay in the newly refurbished Honey Hedge.

Truly amazing, my wife and I stayed in the Lamorna View cottage during our midweek 5 day stay on the 2nd of May 2016 and well what can I say everything about the cottage and surroundings are lovely. The purpose of our visit was for our honeymoon so it was extremely important to find somewhere special with a romantic memerablece and believe me we couldnt of chosen a better place to go for the occasion. In typical me fasion managed to get lost near where these cottages are located and more worrying had no mobile phone due to my battery going flat half hour earlier however a short drive away is a pub called lamorna wink where I decided to ask a local couple for directions who very luckily for us invited us to use there telephone and socket to recharge my phone a little. After then contacting Phil and they kindly came to meet us on the carZoecarpark the pub and led us to the cottages where our breath taking experience began. Upon arrival we were greeted by candle light, a bottle of bubbly on ice with strawberries and chocolates, what more could you ask for. The rose pettles on the bed added the icing to the cake, this is pure luxury and being spoilt as we all love. The cottage has a lovely feel, romantic large comfortable bed a large bath set in the centre of the upper floor area which you have to try and a very nice wet room complete with soft lighting and his and hers sinks. The log burner when lit makes for a very cozy feel plus smart tv for those that wish. A panaramic window allows you to sit and experience the breathtaking views around the cottage that just adds to a long list of wows. Outside is a well designed garden area decked on 2x levels with summer house and of course a hot tub where you can relax, unwind and take in the views of the sea and stars whilst sipping a glass of bubbly. Bliss!!!!! There are some places well worth a visit too, we took a drive to near by Long Rock where you will find nice beeches and the castle that is located on the island with gorgeous gardens, a pub on the edge of the beech which serves food also. If you take a trip into Penzance there are various shops worth looking at for gifts etc and the Waterside meadery which serves medieval style meals from 6pm at reasonable prices. There are many walks you can take and enjoy if you prefer and like to explore too. As an overall we had a lovely experience and stay at Lamorna View and highly recommend to others wanting the same, we will be returning for our anniversary next year.

A big thank you to you both for your detailed and glowing review! Lamorna View is a beautiful cottage, since your visit we have relocated the hot tub higher up so it has sea views now and is sheltered on three sides with a retractable electric awning going on soon so allowing night time star gazing.
Thank you for being delightful guests, we look forward to seeing you again.
