The night we went here for dinner was also the night of some family’s daughter’s wedding reception?! At first we felt like wedding crashers but at 8 pm it appeared to be winding down and guests were departing. The realization that a family would have their reception here made us realize the locals must know good food! And they did, indeed!
It was sprinkling when we arrived but we could imagine how beautiful it would be to eat at a table out on the lawn, overlooking the beautiful vine covered hills. We had no problem speaking only English and our waiter understood our order well. The tajarin with ragu and the agnolotti have quickly become our favorite Piedmontese dishes! Casa Nicolini’s were delicious and paired nicely with a Barbaresco wine. Prices were really a good value! Be sure to ask for a table near the window where the views are almost as good as on the lawn.
