A stay at Casa Nicolini is a real treat. The view from the Casa is secondary no to none, the facilities are very good, the food very tasty indeed - and not to mention the wine list. I'm n summary: not an experience to be missed.

We had lunch here. The food was ok although we found the portions of meat a bit small and not special. The waiter was very grumpy and unfriendly. Shame! Views are nice, so this made up for it a bit.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, and we (2 couples visiting La Langhe, Roero & Monferratto regions) were very happy with our dinner there.
Be sure you can get a table outside & arrive before the sunset so you can just marvel at the magnificent views of the vineyards, slops, towns and castles in the Barbaresco area.

Be also sure to ask for Tony & for Antonio who were our servers & they were very attentive, friendly & prompt.
The food is typical Piemontese & it was excellent: you can never go wrong with the "tjarin Alle 40 tuorli " (their very light & delicious homemade pasta with 40 yolks per kilo of flour)! The sauces vary but they are all superb.
The Barbaresco wines were excellent. Save room for the typical "bounet".
Great quality/value relationship about 60-80 euros a couple).
Highly recommend this ristorante located in the ' frazione' of Tre Stelle just a couple miles of the town of Barbaresco.

Located in Tre Stelle, Barbaresco this restaurant has one of the best views in the area. You can have dinner outside in the garden looking out on beautiful vineyards. Location is everything here. Some of the food is excellent (try the risotto with aspargues) and some is average. The service is not particularly good but my husband and I went back for the views and wine.

Views are amazing. On a clear day can see the Alps. Food was also outstanding. Asparagus with parmesan, flan, plin, squid. Elena La Luna Barbera was superb.
