Had a phantastic family diner at the Molino. They specialize in regional food and regional recipes. Dishes and ingredients used were outstanding. The wine card was well chosen and very very fairly priced. Service was professional - waiters who had chosen to become waiters. Highly to be recommended. Access is somewhat off the beaten track, well worth the effort to get there.

This restaurant has it all; a great location, a nice warm ambience, amazing food, attentive service, terrific wine and (we thought) excellent value for money. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner date in this excellent restaurant. We chose the degustation menu - 4 innovative courses - and finished our meal with a complimentary limoncello.
We would definitely return to Molino del Torchio if we found ourselves in the vicinity again.

On 31st of Dec my husband and I always go out for a classy dinner. This year we did not want to spend a lot and accidantly came up accross an offer for 7-course dinner for 65 (!) Euro including champagne at the beginning and at midnight, wine and coffee. We already were there once 3 years ago and had most pleasant memories of that place. So we decided to spend our New Year Eve there and it was wonderful! Food was delicious, portions were large and wine offered was just fantastic. Service was most attentive. I requested for some changes in the menu for me and it was no problem. We had a most pleasant time there and I would like to come back there soon! Great value for the money.

I highly reccomend this place for just a romantic dinner in two or celebrating special occasions with friends and family.

My parents-in-laws stayed here just before Christmas while we were all visiting Europe.
The Restaurant and B&B is located in a renovated water mill in the outskirt of Cuasso al Piano, a small village at the beginning of the Italian alps.
The service was attentive, the room clean and spacious with a small kitchen/leaving area were to have breakfast.
The food at the restaurant was good and typical of the region with excellent produces.
The small river and the location in the forest adds to a great atmosphere
It was a great and cheap base camp to visit the lake of Lugano and all the nearby attractions.
