“Surprise Birthday party”

My self and my wife met friends for a surprise birthday party for my wife. There were 10 adults. The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults. My wife and I slept in bunk beds. We wanted to treat our guests to a great time. The house is a great value.. There are newer and fancier but the price is more. This met our needs.

The owner is very willing to help.

“Loved the place!”

We had the best time staying here. Perfectly located away from the bustle of town, but close enough to be there within 15 minutes. Private beach, turtles laid eggs on the beach almost every night we were there. We spent hours in the ocean, combing the beach looking for sea glass, in the pool, napping in the hammocks, sunning in the chairs, and more. It was the perfect place to relax and also to set out to other places like Coba, Dos Ojos, and Akumal to swim with turtles. Gianni made us the best chicken fajitas one night, and was a gracious host. Sue made us homemade guacamole upon arrival that was to die for. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook at home, and the local Chedraui had everything we needed in a supermarket. We cooked breakfast every morning and also grilled burgers, made spaghetti, and cooked chicken one night. Bedrooms were comfortable and well air conditioned, showers were hot, pool was pristine and crystal clear. I would recommend this house to anyone for both the amenities and the location. Also the wifi was exceptional!

Before we got there we read negative reviews about swimming there. We got water shoes and set out in the water. Had no issues with our feet as we were always wearing our shoes, but the waves are pretty serious right there and constantly breaking on the point. The 7 year old loved it, but the rest of use preferred to walk the 5 minutes or so north to Soliman bay, a protected cove with world class snorkeling. It is just up to you and your preferences, but rest assured whatever type of water you like is within a very short walk from the house.

On arriving at the home we were warmly greeted. The home is so very well equipped. The family was very respectful of our privacy, they cleaned and kept the gardens, pool and beach beautifully tidy. They made us a fantastic meal. This felt like home.. I'll be coming back to this home thank you Gianni...

We rented the house for a week and it was to short! The house is beautiful and cooking with this marvellous view it's just too much ! The kitchen is well equip, there's a BBQ but no oven. The owner is helpful and careful. The place is secure and you can trust Su and Diego who take good care of the place. Ideal for nature lovers. You need watershoes to enjoy the beach and for snorkeling just in front of the house. They have snorkel equipment. The place is near from Tulum, Cenotes and so many activities but you need to rent a car.
I highly recommend this place.

“Great place to stay with large group”

I'm a teacher and went to Tulum on a field trip with 8 high school kids and 2 other adults. We stayed at Villa Tankah and it was a great place to stay. It more than accommodated our group. I don't know if it would sleep 16 comfortably but it definitely could sleep 14. We had a great time. Only a 10 minute drive to Tulum Puebla and Beach. The place had all the amenities we needed. Although, there wasn't an oven, there was a stove with 4 burners and there were 2 refrigerators so we were able to make all of our meals there which helped out our budget a lot. The pool was also great. It was clean and it kept the kids occupied. Didier, the caretaker, was very helpful and very nice. When we wanted to bbq, he set up the grill. When we asked him which was the best local market to buy groceries, he drove us there. Such a nice guy. The cleaning lady was also really awesome. Everyday, she would come in and make sure we had clean towels and wash the dishes. The place was spotless everyday.
I think the best part of this place is the location. Its pretty secluded and safe. The kids were able to walk around the beach and bike in relative safety. There are 2 restaurants that were walking distance which were very good. Also, at night we walked along the pretty secluded beach and saw huge turtles coming up to the shore and laying eggs. It was pretty amazing.
I would stay here again if I had a large group. You can't get a better deal considering the location, the pool, and the price. Highly recommended.
