Nice sand and pretty clear water. Public beach access, parking near beach, public showers and toilets. Good snorkeling for beginners at swimming zone of hotel between beach entrance and this open Cenote/lagoon thing. Not too crowded on weekdays. Best beach we saw in Playa del Carmen. We had a nice day at the beach. Do not forget to bring some some drinks and food - and an sunbrella if you want to have some shadow.

This is a very beautiful beach! Very clean and the sand feels so good beneath your feet. Cristal clear waters and the view is gorgeous. Spend the whole day here, rented a couple of beach chairs, umbrella and table for only $20 dollars. Was worth it. There is a cenote nearby that you can get into if you want to really refresh because the water in it is very cold. Worth the trip.

This is a locals beach, not a lot of gringo tourista's here. But if you come here, you will not be disappointed! This is a beautiful beach! The locals were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The cenote had cold water coming out of it, and when mixed with the warm water of the ocean, made for a wonderful experience! My wife went for a massage the first day we were there, $25.00 for a 1 hour massage. She said it was great! We were there for 3 hours the first day. The 2nd day we went, we took more water and some snacks. We did eat BBQ shrimp from one of the food carts there, and cerviche from the food truck that was there. Both were very good. Helpful hint, take small pesos. One other hint, take a waterproof pouch for your valuables to keep with you when you go out into the ocean. We never had any problems, but a young couple from Canada had their go-pro stolen. Just be aware. Love this place! Can't wait to go back!

This beach is easy accesable by car and has free parking. There is many beautiful stretches of this beach and a surprisingly little enclosed bay or lake with cold fresh water streaming up from an underground cenote. The beach can be busy during weekends by locals in particular but is significantly more quit than the beaches of Mamitas. If you have bicycles it will take you less than 15 minutes from centre of Playa del Carmen to reach.

There are a few vendors of water and sodas and snacks.
