We stayed here and had a great time! We originally booked for 7 adults- 1 being elderly and at the last minute she could not make it. I say that because this house is gorgeous but you need to be able to go up stairs and the 4th bedroom is really not the best... no natural light and down a steep set of stairs. We kept that door locked because we had a toddler and that was a no no. The rooftop plunge pool and balcony were also great in the pics but not as practical with a toddler or if you have issues with climbing 3 flights of stairs. This house is great for adults and for kids probably not toddlers. We ended up, unfortunately, having to put all their nice decorations high up so our toddler wouldn't have an issue. The pool is a few steps away and nice to have nearby. To get access to the beach you are going through the hotel and it's still a nice walk or through the neighborhood and it's also a nice walk. Probably 3 blocks... i know because we had a toddler and all their stuff so you can imagine it was a bit farther than we would have liked. The ocean was also very rough when we went so we ended up driving to Akumal most days so our toddler could play in water/sand. Other than that, the house was quiet, location great and amenities, the cleaning was great etc. Just felt I would add my two cents if anyone with kids or elders were thinking about this place. That way there would be no surprises. Overall like the reviews it was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute but if you are a stickler for some things fyi. Thank you!
