Very large park, lots to see, great looking beach and snorkel area. Unfortunatly, it is also VERY crowded. My advice is to get there when it opens and go right to the beach or snorkeling. Once it hits 11am or noon both will be packed. Lots to see and do in the rest of the park, but there is alot of walking involved. It reminds me of a zoo in the middle of the jungle.

Dear Visitor.

Thank you for sharing your opinion with us and for giving us the opportunity to be your host during your holidays.

There are seasons when we have more visitors than others. Our recommendations, as you have mentioned is to start with activities like the beach, snorkel or those activities that usually visitors left to the end. The best way to do it is to approach with the Attention to the Visitors Department to find out which areas of the park has fewer people.

It is important to mention bringing comfortable shoes and additional clothes to be clean and dry during the night show.

Best regards.

Xcaret was an amazing park! The show at the end was very nice, and the buffet was delicious. There is definately so much to do, and it's an all day thing, so before you go, get plenty of rest! Bring biodegradable sunblock, a hat and maybe UVA/UVB protection long sleeved clothing to protect yourself from the sun, if you care about your skin like I do! You might want to get the photo package for this one, because we didn't and I kind of regretted it! You get to hold the animals on your arms, etc.. but bc we didn't get the package, we didn't! It was sad haha. We ended up getting the photo package on our third adventure trip at Xplor though.. we did Xcaret on our first day so we didn't really know what to do haha. Bring a camera for sure.. that is waterproof so that you can use it in the underwater river swim! Make sure you eat before then too unless you can wait like an hr! It's a very refreshing float down the river in the cave! You'll love the animals, etc. There is so much to do at Xcaret, Xelha and Xplor. We did Xcaret first and loved it. :) Oh, you might hear howling monkeys. At first we thought it was choreographed, but when we looked up, two monkeys were going to town on each other haha. I guess it was a howling battle but none the less it was cute, different and interesting.

We visited this park for a second time because we had a great experience the first. It is really expensive and this time I didnt think it was so worth it. the park itsself is wonderful and there is a lot to do. The problem is they only have one bus that leaves for Cancun in the afternoon. It leaves at 4 and that is not enough time to see the whole park. If you miss that bus you have to get the 9 O clock bus which would have been too expensive for 9 of us that went. Taxis are available but that would have been expensive all the way to Cancun (over an hour). We bought the package before we left and prepaid the transportation. I felt that they should have more available times so that we could have enjoyed the park more. The snorkel trip was well worth it and I would suggest the photo package there are cameras set up all over the park and you have access to those photos (unlimited) after.

We had a great day here but if you find lots of people a problem you may not get the nest from it.
We loved the lazy river swim, it’s quite long and takes about and hour but you are kitted out with flippers and life jackets so don’t need to be a good swimmer. There are options to get out about every quarter of the way.
There is lots to see and do, we really liked the turtles and snorkelling, lots of fish to see.
The Horsemanship show was really brilliant. If you go you must stay for the evening show which is truly spectacular!

I enjoyed every second. We started with the 'dry activities' - Butterflies, Mayan Village, birds and all the other wild animals. They are adorable. Then we did the underground river and the snorkling. We had the Plus Package, which i think it is better, and we also payed for photos - i also think this is great idea to do (but expansive). We can take many photos using cameras that are spread around the park and it is really fun!
