We stayed at this condo with two couples as a two bedroom and then stayed on in the one bedroom configuration as one couple. The condo has excellent quality furniture and beds.
It's very clean and the AC is quite quiet. The privacy for two couples sharing is super with the bedrooms separated by the terrace.
The views over the turquoise waters of Playa Norta are my favourite but there is also windows in the kitchen and dining overlooking the village.
We had extended family staying in the Ixchel condos but every evening we all congregated on our terrace because it was the largest and most sheltered from the wind. On my sisters 60th birthday we had 12 family members on that terrace!! Truly wonderful.
The only drawback is that the hotel front desk does not help you with anything. You have to phone a property management company on a phone they supply. This phone is not reliable and all in Spanish so make sure you have international phone service. Diana, our fabulous cleaner, fortunately could help us out.
My husband is already lobbying to return to this condo and this beach.
