This year was the second time I've rented from HTL. Great experience both times. Luis made it very easy to get the deal done to my satisfaction.

The Jeep we rented was in great shape, no problems at all.

We were met at Diego's Tacos, just outside the airport. We took care of the paperwork without having to go to the office.

Communicated with Luis via email the day before we were interested in renting a jeep. He responded quickly and provided pricing of $55 for the day (2 door)including insurance. We agreed to meet outside our resort at 9:30. We walked out and met Antonio and a second man waiting with our jeep & their own. We went over the rules/contract then did a walk around the jeep to note any damage. We were given a tear off copy of everything right then. We were able to pay cash and he made an imprint of our credit card as collateral. Antonio was very friendly and helpful. He went over a map with us, showing us which gas stations were trustworthy, interesting places to check out and a good route to take through town. Our jeep was a standard and although it didn't look new inside, everything was nice, clean and in good working order. We toured the island with zero issues and they met us back outside the resort at 5pm as we'd agreed...again they were already there waiting. He gave us our credit card imprint back when we returned the jeep.

It was my first trip to Cozumel so I was very nervous about renting a vehicle and whether there would be any tricks to get more money out of us but the process with HTL was so simple and straightforward. They were much cheaper than renting through the resort too. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
