I hadn't been back to this resort in at least 5 years, so I was unsure if it would still be good. I was very pleased with the condition of the resort, staff and amenities. We met very nice people during our stay in both the other guests and staff. The pools and pool chair availability is ample. Swim up bars and pool service prompt and welcoming. Alejandro with the fun team is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed bingo and any interactions with him. The breakfast buffet could have been better. I miss the omelet station. Even though they will take your order and make it in the kitchen, you do not have the 'made to order' experience, and for example, my omelet was overfilled with jalepenos, but barely had any cheese. Our only struggle was in the maid service. After being out of our room from about 8 am to 4:30 or later, we would come back and the room had not been cleaned. We would lay down to rest before dinner or take a shower and they would come to clean at 5:15 or 5:30. That is too late after being out of the room all day. We were in the middle of the floor on a mid-tier level, not at the end of the hall at the very top----so it is unclear why we were always last for the day. (Of course on our last morning, even after getting a slightly later check out--they were at our door very early. We said we had a later check out and they still only gave us another 20 minutes. Funny, when check in isn't even until 3 pm) We did not have dinner at the property. Overall, we had a fantastic time and I would recommend it. Nice location and beautiful beach views and access.

We love this place!! We brought our two oldest granddaughters for a graduation present!! They loved it!! They didn’t wanna leave!! Also I have to give a special shout out to our concierge Jerson ! He was super great on helping us with everything!! We had a two bedroom villa and it was beautiful as usual!! We will be back next year!! If you are looking for a spot out here this is the best area and best hotel on the hotel zone!!! Check it out!! I’ll put pics up

Pros
- fantastic one bedroom accommodation with gorgeous ocean views (request building 9,1, or 14)
- loved the main pool - infinity design and super big
- very clean and modern feel
- staff is friendly and works hard (shoutout to Roberto in the fitness room and the fun team (Alejandro and tony) for making everyday fun for the family
- across the road from La isla plaza with tons of shopping Ana amazing restaurants (many of which you get 10% off as guests of the hotel - ask concierge for list of discount restaurants). I would recommend Thai, Cambalache and la Sanora Grill
- they keep track of pool chairs used (can not just drop your stuff and leave). There was always a pool chair available
-ocean front (loved waking up and down daily) one day was too wavy to go in
Amazing fitness facilities to use

Cons
- expensive food and mart (can shop at Soliano to make it more affordable)
- food is just ok (not great)
- did the taco Tuesday party- food was horrible and overpriced ($240 for a family of four with it liquor). Entertainment was good but can get that at Hacienda Sisal restaurant for much less

Overall a great hotel in a great location Family enjoyed the vacation and will be back
