“Best pozole Of world”
Reviewed 30 September 2014 via mobile

There' re few party dishes of México. Pozole is one of that no doubt. At Casa Toño which have several locations over the City you will find the best pozole and also a great selection of quesadillas, tostadas and some tacos. And nothing else. This is not a place for drink, chat or sophisticated athmosphere.
It is very cheap and testefool.

Be care about bottles of salsa because some of them are extremely spice.

Its a must in México City if you realy want to know a real mexican food.

“Must get the Pazole !!”
Reviewed 6 September 2014

The food was excellent and very inexpensive. You must visit and get the Pazole, a sopes and a Beer. The Pork we had on our Sopes was spicy but not hot. and I got the Pazole with the lean beef , I will be back

“Authentic, delish mexican food!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

It was our last night in Mexico City & our local friends took us to this spot. Was super pleased about the whole experience. The restaurant was super efficient & the overall service & food was great. Super casual environment which I loved; yet, the quality was fantastic. Fell in love with the Sopes (had the steak and mushroom ones). The Sopa was great, too! Definitely will visit here & recommend on next trip to Mexico City! Gracias!

“Very, very overrated comfort food place ...”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

I am still confounded as to why this place is so highly rated by both Mexicans and visitors alike.

The renowned pozole really if you get down to it is not that great ... there are many other places that are better. The garnachas/antojitos (finger food) is decent ... but WAKE UP you can get this kind of food much cheaper on any street corner in the city.

Really dissapointing ... plus the Avenida Cuauhtémoc location always blocks traffic across from Parque Delta. Supremely overrated try somewhere else like El Bajío if you want good, adventurous Mexican food in the DF!

Plus we were seated in a totally closed room with no windows the time we went to the Santa María de la Ribera location.

“always like coming home”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

I always make this my first stop when visiting Mexico City to begin my stay with a bowl of their delicious pozole - I ate here twice this time and am sure to eat here many more times in the future
