I believe ALL rooms have an ocean view, simply lovely. Armando at the front desk you were wonderful getting us checked in early. Close to airport and best of all walk across street to marina where there are many (cheap and good!) eateries shops. The riptide was too dangerous to enter the ocean this weekend, but not a problem we had plenty of other activities. If you have children I saw a great kids area with lots of activities. Of my kids were little I would want to bring them here. I almost went with an all adult hotel, but am so glad we didn’t as I saw how far away the GF all adult was located with nothing that do within walking distance. With all the cheap eats at the marina o am so glad we didn’t do the all inclusive “feed trough”...this was just PERFECTO!

Nice resort located by the Marina! The service is always great and clean resort. Wonderful location in the middle of PV. Large pool, nice bar, convenient quick food deli and great breakfast in the restaurant. Lunch by the pool is always easy and great food.

Room tip: Definitely ask for a room with an ocean view

We had a family vacation right after Christmas 2017 with our two teenagers. We were having a fabulous time at the Marriott, when I had an accident and fractured my tibia and fibula. From the time it happened, Fernando in Loss Prevention met us at the scene and took care of my 14 and 18 yr olds. He took photos and helped us with the police report and ambulance. He made what was a scary situation out of the US more manageable. He transported my kids to the ER while my husband and I rode in the ambulance. He took them back and forth to the hotel to get items I may need while at the hospital. Fred and Liz Beth with Marriott were also so courteous, helpful and caring during this horrible situation. They allowed us to extend our stay one night while I was still in the hospital and not able to be fit to fly. They arranged for transportation of my family after checking out of the hotel to pick me up at the hospital, pick up my prescriptions at multiple pharmacies and dropped us all off at the airport. The hotel staff made it not near as bad as it could have been! I can not say enough positive things about the caliber of this hotel and staff! The property was beautiful with a huge pool and numerous restaurants that are extremely affordable. Our junior suite on the second floor was plenty of space for our family!

Room tip: Our room on the second floor across from elevators was not noisy at all!

We have decided that there is no need to visit anywhere else in Mexico. The Marriott is perfect. I believe we just wrapped up our 5th visit. From the moment you walk up the stairs to the lobby you know you are in paradise. The place is spotless with an army of people constantly keeping it that way. You will not find a gum wrapper the place is so clean. The employees are the best asset. You are always greeted with "hola" and asked if you need anything. I would like to name a few employees we found to be exceptional. Guillermo at the front, Gladys who took care of our room and July in the spa. All hard working, great personality people. Since we spend most of our time at the pool, this is where we met Victor, a server and Warren the pool consigliere. Victor works his butt off for the guests. Besides being a great server he is a kind human being. It is like leaving a friend when time to go. When we return we always sit in Victor's section and enjoy being with our friend again. Warren, the pool consigliere has a personality you immediately gravitate to. He is helpful, clever, witty, funny and like Victor you become friends. He is on the move constantly making sure the pool area is clean and welcoming to guests. The last thing we do before heading to the airport is to say goodbye to Victor and Warren. I always shed a few tears but I know I will see them again.

I do have a couple of things that bother me but they are minor. We had a suite and the toilet, bathtub area is very small. The way the doors swing make it difficult to get in the shower. I know that can't be fixed but it is a bit tight. The other being the musty, mildew smell in the room. I know you can't avoid this in Mexico. I am sensitive to molds so the smell does bother me. My husband isn't bothered at all by it. I did buy a can of Febreeze which does help.

I can't say enough about our stay. It was fabulous. I highly recommend PV and the Marriott.

Our company hosted our yearly event at this hotel and we had a wonderful time.

We arrived to the hotel in large groups (20 or more at the time) and the hotel staff was able to handle the large influx of new guests in a very professional manner. We had waiters running up and down the guest line offering complementary drinks. A+

My room was situated in the 9th floor, with only one neighbor on the left. My balcony faced the beach. A+
Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. They provided the standard Marriott toiletries in the bathroom and the bed was super comfortable.
One issue I found with the radio alarm. It seems if they get disconnected, upon reconnection, they reset to wake you up at 6am. Yes, one morning I jumped out of me bed at 6am. Not a good way to start the day :)

The grounds are beautiful and well attended. The pool is huge and has a section where you can play volleyball. Our team made use of that section throughout the week.

There is also a swim-up bar in the rear section of the pool, conveniently located facing the beach.

The beach is my only negative to the hotel and I don’t blame the hotel. It’s simply the Pacific Ocean water’s fault. It’s simply not crystal clear like the Caribbean.

There is a huge gym onsite,
complementary to guests. Sauna services, for a fee, are also available.

I spent quite a bit of time, having lunch and dinner in “Las Casitas”. The food is really good and reasonably price for hotel.

If you are thinking about Puerto Vallarta vacationing. This hotel should be in the top of your list.
