2nd time coming back

First off laughing at the comments from the foreigners below. Mazatlán is not a relaxing destination. Mazatlán is all about party , music, it’s delicious seafood among other fun activities! One, I would not do the all inclusive option because I am there to go out and eat at all the different seafood and local food Mazatlán has to offer. Not some cold pizza and cheese fries. I do have to say that ever since this became a AI we felt the hotel declined a bit. However , it’s still a great hotel compared to the rest that are old and outdated. We stayed in a beachfront room. If I am going to a beach destination I want to wake up to the sea every morning . The room is not small as some have mentioned. It is roomy enough for two people. Now , the bed and linens and pillows were definitely the cherry on top. I slept real comfortable every night. My only complain is the cleaning that is done daily is not real thorough. The floors were not cleaned all the way as I saw hairs left etc. great location great beach. And again, do not come here if you are a foreigner looking for a calm vacation. Go to Cancun or some where else. I love Mazatlan , VIAGGIO y la BANDA!

Oh yeah checking in and checking out was a breeze!

This is a good hotel but you have to know what to expect. It essentially strives for a fiesta-type atmosphere that is popular with Mexican families. Loud music going til fairly late in the night and the hotel does not cater so much to foreign tourists. If that sounds good to you, this is your place.

Great ocean views from the room and a pretty nice beachfront, though it does get a bit narrow during high tide. Conveniently located near the far end of the Golden Zone, so you’re near a lot of stuff but not quite right in the middle of it. Did not eat or drink much here but it seemed decent enough.

Towel situation is a little annoying as you have to keep a second card with you to get a beach towel. Resort is nice because it’s new, but it is a little sparse and often short on charm. Much of this is widely done to minimize dirt, mildew, etc, which is great, but it could be a little warmer. Staff seemed somewhat disinterested outside of the front desk — not exactly rude but not very attentive either.

Pools are nice although, again, a little sparse. Big family pool then a slightly smaller pool for adults. Kids would like it here well enough.

They had a pretty cool fire show on Friday or Saturday night. That one is worth catching if you can.

I don’t think you could do much better unless maybe if you head a little further north up the beach, like around playa Cerritos. But that did not seem nearly as convenient, although much quieter.

Hotel was ok for the price, however it's impossible to enjoy the beach due to the loud tambora bands that come and set up next to you and play that music non stop!!!!! Its insanely loud and is constant along with the vendors Not everyone enjoys that type of music and so like me many tourist will not consider Mazatlan for vacation again!

Room tip: Dont go if you can handle the noise at the beach

Love this hotel! The view from the rooms is amazing and the service has been great, they go out of their way to help us with everything wish!

The pool and beach access is as good as it gets in Mazatlan.

Carlos is the best concierge, we will come back here in the future!

If you can avoid staying here, don't stay here. We went for a family wedding and most of us stayed here. The check in counter took about 45 minutes to check in, and i had booked two rooms and the other check in the girl was rude and just stared without saying anything. The food was salty and cold. The rooms are small, and not cleaned properly. Buying something at the beach and trying to eat it in the pool area was a big no no. The security guard by the pool came up to my 6 year old and scolded her for walking with sand on her feet. He should of approached me rather than my child. yes it a new hotel but needs lots of work and higher standards. Also had family come visit and they were not allowed to go up to the rooms.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a destination wedding, along with at least 100 other of the wedding guests. The wedding party experience was wonderful due to being in a large group of family and friends. However, I would not recommend this hotel for anything over a day or two stay, particularly the all inclusive option. The hotel itself is boutique, its newer and clean. Unfortunately, the food options are extremely limited all together, particularly a vegetarian/pescatarian menu. The all inclusive option does not include the a la carte menu, which is misleading. There aren't any restaurants on the property. There isn't much to do on the resort, apart from the two pools. The quality of the pizza served at the poolside bar is poor and undercooked. At least 20 of the wedding guests got terribly sick during the week stay there. There aren't any activities to participate in at the hotel like a typical all inclusive. (The pool staff does a good job at playing a few poolside games a day). The beach area in front of the hotel is smaller than at other resorts and you have to pay to rent a lawn chair on the beach, where other resorts include this). Room service is not included unlike other all-inclusive resorts. Food from the buffet eatery is not allowed at the pool area but that wasn't a big deal. They do have dining entertainment consisting of a small local band playing soft rock, which was nice. The service is great, no complaints about that. The location is a bit far from the main golden zone area. For me, food options is the biggest driver in a resort, particularly because of my children, (sadly, no ice cream on the property). The hotel also doesn't have a shop where you can purchase convenience items. Although the staff was great, unfortunately their hands are tied when it comes to food variety. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking for an all inclusive or very kid friendly place. I wouldn't recommend it other than for a night or two at most, or for a business meeting if you are a local.

Room tip: Look around at other resorts. You can find larger resorts with better amenities and dining for the same price.
