The staff at the hotel during the busy solar eclipse week worked very hard to be welcoming and helpful. The nightclub pounding music till 2 or 3 am above our room each night was ridiculous esp bc we never saw anyone going to it. The management never responded to requests to move or notified us that there is a club that plays loud music with pounding beats each night till the early morning hours. We should have been provided a partial refund for the horrendous noise and disruption if they were not willing to move us. When we checked out the staff informed us they charge for the water bottles provided in the refrigerator in our room that we used but don’t provide potable safe drinking water to guests from outside of Mexico. The staff said they would share this with management bc they didn’t know hotels typically provide two free bottles of water each day.

The first 4 days were good, with a few issues but they were able to manage them, on the 5th day they opened the roof top as a club until 5:30am, of course every single guest could not sleep, there were a lot of non-guests coming in and out and wondering on the halls, yelling 100% drunk and bothering everyone, I talked to the front desk at 1:10 am and they said that they would close in 50 minutes, 4 hours later they were still there.
