We booked a weekend stay at the Ramada resort in Mazatlán. Upon arrival we found out that the resort was taken over by Gaviana. The reception area was appropriately staffed and we checked in without incident. Upon arrival in our room....the room was out dated and the bed although soft it lacked support. I woke up with a sore back each morning. The lighting was less than desirable. The bathroom was small.
There are local bands that play on the beach until the wee hours of the morning. I thought they were playing in the next room. The beach and pool ares are nice and the wait staff will keep the drinks coming if you want. We only had lunch there. The portions were good and the tuna crèche was delicious. Over all a 3 out of 5 stars. The bedding needs to be replaced and the noise was too much for us.
