Stayed here in March 2020 and from the day we checked in we received bad customer service from the front desk managment as she was rude and had No people skills,and for the service in this hotel its one of the worst we have ever received.
We stayed at the Ocean View for two weeks. The staff were excellent Gabrielle on the front desk. You made our stay so special as well Christian our door man you were just delightful and looked after us. The breakfast staff in the dining room so helpful, the brunch was perfect. Our room was good, It would have been nice to have a table on the lanai, small fridge would have been perfect. All in all it was a great stay
Great location, clean hotel, nice pool and great Guacamole at the pool! It was our first time in Mazatlán and this hotel was a great spot to stay for couples or small families! Staff were so awesome as well, sense we didn’t know much Spanish.
attractive on approach, pleasant checkin and checkout. room good size, clean, nicely laid out, attractive, great view from the nice balcony, good roomy shower, lots of water at our chosen temperature. included buffet breakfast was excellent! lots of choices: Mexican, American, European. attentive attendants, clean spacious attractive dining room. Good pool, lots of chairs, nice beach. Sadly, we were only there for one night, but I'd be happy to go back!
Rooms and views were very nice for the price point! And some staff were nice as well... BUT most staff were cold and a couple (including a manager) were overtly rude. We were also speaking spanish so there's no communication issue! Just rude... the top dog must be breathing down these employees' necks.
The breakfast room is depressing... no natural light, playing some kenny g elevator music... Breakfast itself isn't bad (though the coffee is terrible) but the area makes you want to run out. We asked if we could take breakfast back to our room or outside and that was met with a wholehearted NO. We joked that the management must be military inspired...
And it's true the patio doors don't lock unless you ask them specifically for a key...
Would be a nice hotel if it was kinder to guests!
