We had to find a place to spend our last two days in Mazatlan. We chose the Ocean View Beach Hotel because it had decent ratings, a good rate, and beach exposure. Oh! It had so much more than that! We arrived a bit early to check in, yet we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. Our Uber driver was having a hard time processing our payment, and the front desk provided the help we needed to process the payment. We were allowed to check in early, and our room was beautiful, modern, clean. And a great ocean view! The Golden Zone location was perfect. It was quiet, yet so close to restaurants and the happenings that one expects in that part of Mazatlan! The breakfast at Ocean View was well-staffed with gracious English-speaking waiters. There was a great selection of breakfast offerings—eggs, potatoes, meats, regional dishes, cereals, juice, and of course—coffee! We enjoyed the pool, and walked the beach, too. We were graciously allowed to have a later checkout because we had a later flight home. We would definitely stay here again!
