We stayed at the hotel a long time ago when it was called the Pride of Lincoln and was surprised to find that the bedrooms and furniture was exactly as it was before and although clean the room was in desperate need of updating. The bed was comfortable but beyond that it was poorly presented.
Shower was poor, only one bath towel and one hand towel supplied for 2 people. Very limited tea and coffee supplied as standard. Soap and toiletries limited to one squeeze pack on the sink and one over the bath/shower. The room had absolutely no refinements and the chairs in the room were old and uncomfortable.
Couldn't wait to leave and decided to skip breakfast and left.
One positive was that the girl on reception was delightful and a little ray of sunshine in a very poor hotel in our opinion. We will not rush back.

We visited yesterday for my sons birthday and the food was great. The waiting staff was pleasant and helpful. The children enjoyed what was on offer for them and the loved the puddings. We would definitely go again

Came here last week for breakfast, the lovely Diane looked after us. Couldn't have been more helpful, felt very looked after and everything we needed she took care of. My children loved her, also made sure they had everything aswell. Couldn't fault the place, food was amazing also. Well worth the money! Will 100% be coming back here to try the dinner.
