Recommended by the owner of Hotel Lilla we had dinner here once, but would have loved to do it a second time. The dishes served are well prepared, mostly originated from the region. They explain the menu, but also offer dishes that are not on the menu, but which are very local. We had Brassato which was very wel prepared and as a dessert a magnificent Panna Cotta, which was for sure prepared by themselves! I would recommend this restaurant highly!

Thank Berkenkamp

We were here last year, and it is just as good IF NOT BETTER!!!
You can always tell a good food venue, the locals always go there to eat and to celebrate. Germano and Fernando have created this special Inn where fine dining is available together with massive portions!!
You need to be hungry before you start! We loved the cured trout and the rabbit and beef dishes. Of course their pasta is also out of this world.....
The last time we came was with a large group and they convert an adjacent room into a function room for large celebrations. (we were 50!)
This time there was just the two of us and we ate in the cosy and atmospheric dining areas which must have been at one time the living quarters for the animals???
The resultant setting is cosy and great and the wine list is very good, Germano knows his wines!
The local Sparkling wine is all made by the traditional method and you think you are drinking Champagne at a fraction of the price.
Step outside and the mountain top soars right above you - it is so spectacular you can visit just for the scenery!!!
When you drive to the small village square in Covelo you can park there and walk through two little arches to arrive at this Inn in 20 yards or you can take a left turning 30 yards before the square, then a right and you can find their parking on the left.
We prefer to park in the square and walk through the arches to soake up the village atmosphere!
(I wish Ca dei Giosi was in England!)

We were a wine group touring the Veneto, Alto Adige and Trentino, 49 of us from England.
The 7 day trip had been wonderful and we wanted a suitable place to finish our tour with a typical Trentino lunch. The flight home was not departing fromVerona Airport until 10.00 at night so a leisurely lunch was possible.
We discussed this with Germano in March and agreed on a 4 course menu. When we arrived, his function room was all laid up in an atmospheric way and his cousin from America was on hand to act as translate!
We started with the cold meats and fruit platters, which the group really liked. Then the pasta then the Ribs. Apple strudel to finish! When we looked at our watches, it was 5.00pm. We had sat down at 1.00pm. Where did all that time go??
Germano has a lovely function room that sat our 49 with ease. The see through curtain can be raised if the weather is suitable. It is a brilliant room with loads of atmosphere. Just walking from the village square to the restaurant was a revelation for us - it was all so "Trentino"!
I cannot think of a better way that we could have finished our Wine trip! And I haven't even mentioned his lovely house wine which kept coming - jug after jug!
Thank you Germano and all the family.
