A superb location made all the better having what I can only describe as stunning want for nothing accommodation.
Number three by the sea is the best holiday let myself and family have ever had the privilege to stay in,I only wished the experience hadn't ended.
The locals are very friendly and ever so helpful and informative on local historical places.
I look forward to a return hopefully in the not so distant future.
Many many thanks all who were involved from booking to end.

Stayed as a party of 3 adults for 3 nights. Ellen the owner met us at the cottage on our day of arrival. Very friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. The aesthetics of the interior are to a high standard although the twin bedded room is not comfortable for adults as it has 2 cabin beds. Apart from this, the cottage is a fantastic base for exploring. The biggest downside to our visit was the lack of parking on the street next to the cottage. Although a member of our party has a disability and has the correct Blue Badge, parking in the disabled space on the street was still an issue for local residents who found it necessary to report us to the owner even although I had advised I would move the car in a few hours. Besides this petty behaviour we didn't allow this to spoil our break. St Monans is a beautiful wee harbour village which is very peaceful and tranquil. We would recommend Ellens cottage to anyone looking for an enjoyable break.
