I am extremely disappointed to read your comments and wish you had let us know of your disappointment whilst here as these could of been rectified. Unfortunately yes in some rooms the en suites are very small , something we have no control over in such an old building , however these are very well fitted out with rainfall power shoers ,and everything you would need, all be it small. As you were attending a function within the hotel , the bar within that room is the bar used for service of such events, the bar you refer to is the restaurant bar and not equipped to serve a large scale event . Again we are sorry you were not happy with your stay and your comments have been passed onto staff concerned

Please do not take this as an excuse but your server was instructed previously that there was to be no more food orders taken for a period to allow the kitchen and bar to catch up on the back log, this should have been explained to you by your server . This however doesn't excuse however if the food was not of the quality expected . We always try to control the service of food ensuring no one waits and the quality is as expected , however on this occasion your server failed to take direction as instructed leading to the disappointing experience you had, We are very confident in our usual high standards and should you choose to return , please let us know and we will ensure you have a pleasnt and well looked after experience
