Great stay and lovely people made us very welcome and the pictures on the site did not do justice. Had the wow factor and can't wait to be back. Thank you for our great stay in your little paradise.

We recently returned from spending 7 nights at A Night A Shore, and we cannot say enough about this place. We do not have any negative comments.

What we loved about the property:
-view from the balcony or bed (breathtaking!)
-pool was great for after you walked up the hill
-kitchenette was perfect for making breakfasts (we usually opted to each breakfast/lunch at the apartment and went out for dinner every night to a different location)
-location – we felt like this was the perfect location to access many areas on the island [we are in our early thirties and we walked back and forth into town in about 10 mins; we used the Belmont walkway both day and night(bring a flashlight or buy a cheap one in town); it took us around 10 mins to get up the hill and over to Lower Bay as well- many people prefer taxis at night; however, we felt perfectly safe with our flashlight walking around at night; just walk down the hill to get to the beach]
-owners were lovely, helpful and we found the information book that was left in the room was extremely useful with great information on the island , restaurants, etc.
-mobile phone left in room for guest use very helpful

What we loved about Bequia in general:
-small, relaxed feel of the island
-great options for casual, delicious dining [our favourites were: Fernandos(so unique, everything delicious) and Fig Tree(owner is one of the nicest, most welcoming individual I have ever encountered in my travels)]
-beautiful beaches that were not crowded

Not a problem for us, but...
-would not be ideal if you have mobility issues (Bequia has many hills)

“Wonderful view”

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house has nice surrounding gardens. The bedroom is clean and well appointed with a good bed and plenty of storage etc. Nice shower and hot water. The balcony has a view of the yachts anchoring off Princess Margaret Beach. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are steps (about 100) down to the beach with access through Jack's bar or there is a road to walk to the beach (5 mins) but not sure we would be happy to use the beach road access at night. The larger apartment upstairs was occupied during our stay but not an issue for us. We often had the place to ourselves and enjoyed the pool area. The kitchenette is fine and we appreciated the 'fridge etc but it would be good to have a little two ring hob and a couple of pots so we could make ourselves a basic meal - a bowl of pasta or something similar. Good mobility is essential to stay here. Friendly and welcoming owner, staff and preferred taxi driver Julien.

Liked best: The views and the pool was great to cool down in after tackling the steps.
Liked least: The steps! There's mosquitoes around but we were careful and didn't suffer too much!

“Great for the beach”

This is a nice apartment in a very convenient spot for the lovely Princess Margaret Beach - a favourite of ours. Just head down some steps through Jack’s bar and you’re there.
It’s a quirky place with a shared pool. The kitchen is behind locked folding doors right next to the pool - which is most unusual.
There’s a great view from the balcony: perfect for a cool drink and watching sunsets. But then you need to get inside. It’s surrounded by lush vegetation and water, so be prepared for the mozzies.
It’s probably better to book this place in season. When we were there Jack’s bar was closed and so we had to take a taxi each night to and from whatever restaurant we went to. That was an inconvenience. The access road is very steep and suited only to muscular vehicles, as well as slippery if you walk on it after rain. There is a walkway via the beach and a small stretch of woodland - in daytime great, but not appealing in darkness. The steps down to the beach are quite steep - but we were OK with that.
The small pool was in regular use by another couple, so we never used it.
We took daytime meals at the bar restaurants in Lower Bay. The beaches were virtually empty.
Overall: a nice place near superb beaches and good for a short stay.

Very quiet with a great view. 2 minutes walk down to Princess Margaret beach, one of nicest beaches on Bequia. Lovely staff.
