Berriew is a small village with nice people and cows. Lol
I went there for family reasons not as a tourist.
The local hotel has lovely meals and the tea house is really nice
It's a lovely setting, away from the rat race. Don't get me wrong it is basic, but once you get over that little hurdle it's great. And the price kind of shows that is hasn't got all the mod cons. Compost toilet for example. But that's good,
Just lovely sitting outside the hut watching the world go by, Swallows everywhere, and very little noise.
It does put you out of your comfort zone if you are used to hotels but it's also a real adventure, and I would recommend a few nights there.
Cracking food and service in the restaurant to which also made our stay all the more pleasurable
Absolutely loved our time at this quaint and quirky hut. Kerry was so helpful. A must for those who need to recharge their batteries.
Just go, it's worth double what is charged, make sure you book the 7 course tasting meal (£35/head!!!)
You will get so many brownie points from the wife/girlfriend you can take the rest of your life off.
2 pubs within 4 minutes, completely private, breakfast, and road kill the dog.
Quaint and idyllic. We didn't want to leave. A perfect place to get away from it all. So cosy with the log burner. Very unique experience.
