We did the sunset sail with drinks and dinner. The food was really good, the drinks were great, the view/scenery was remarkable! The crew was so cool and very capable. Before returning, we toured the harbor area and they pointed out the yachts and gave bits of info about them. I intend to book this experience every time I come on island. It will never get old!

A group of six friends sailed on the Vi Cat for the 90 minute sunset cruise on 2/18/21. It was a very nice sail and had an open bar -- not only did we have a nice warm breeze and see a great sunset but we had a lot of fun thanks to the amazing crew that worked hard making sure everyone was taken care of and had a good time. When we stepped foot onboard our group went into our own section socially distant from others (due to COVID) and the crew, especially Catie, ran around during the entire sail to take drink orders and to ensure all drinks were refilled -- and the painkillers were flowing and flowing lol! Catie came by so often that our drinks weren't even finished yet before she refilled it to the top again / took orders for another drink.
This was such a nice relaxing sail and a fun time overall that I will be doing this again the next time I am in St. Thomas. Thanks goes out to the amazing crew for making this a fun, relaxing, and safe sail. Regardless if you are going with adult friends or a family with smaller kids, if you like being on the water then this is definitely a must do!

Experience was great, we saw turtles and got to spend time at the beach. Snacks were light but drinks were heavy!!! They never stopped coming around to pour you more water or adult beverage (whichever you preferred). Gear was clean, staff was friendly.
The only thing that was slightly frustrating was the excessive (and I mean really excessive) Covid precautions. I’m all for playing it safe but they were super strict on masks while you were waiting to board. You couldn’t so much as stand up near your group of people on the boat without putting your mask on (keep in mind the entire boat is outside). They claimed that they were required to by law but we ended up going on another snorkel excursion (because we loved the snorkel part so much) with another company on the island and they were much more lenient and more our speed. No one likes to feel so tense on what’s supposed to be a fun relaxing (and expensive) day. Overall, I would recommend it as long as you’re okay with the strict covid rules.
Swimming with the turtles and relaxing on the beach sounds like a perfect day to us! All while staying safe and adhering to the USVI and CDC guidelines. If you’re looking to stay safe while also enjoying your life, The VI Cat is for you!
We did the Taco Tuesday sunset cruise and the next day Turtle Bay snorkel cruise. Both trips were fun and the crew was fantastic. Fernando was on both trips but the captain and other crew was different (I wish I could remember their names because equally outstanding). They made it all fun and energetic while adhering to the current COVID restrictions which was commendable. The food on dinner cruise was average but sunset views and drinks were great. They toured the yacht harbor on the way back which was fun to see. The snorkeling was great fun and Fernando found the turtle as well as numerous fish along the coral. These tours were convenient since we are staying at the Marriott Frenchman’s Cove.
The crew on the boat is what makes this trip exceptional and highly recommend.
