I just spent 1 week at Beaches T&C with my husband and my 2 young daughters aged 4 and 10 mos.
We had a FABULOUS time. I am quite a difficult person and can be pretty picky. Believe me, this resort is incredible. Do not spend days worrying about all the bad reviews here on TripAdvisor (like I did before our trip!!), just relax, smile, and enjoy your vacation.
We found the grounds and the resort to be BEAUTIFUL, the beach -although narrow- is amazing, the snorkeling is out of this world.
The food varied from good to very good. We loved having the buffet breakfast at Giuseppe. It was the same as the buffet at Reflection, but a lot LESS crowded, and we would jump into the pool at the French village (which is the best for little kids) right after. We enjoyed all restaurants. Schooners had amazing crab legs... Yumm!! And the Napoli pizza right off the beach!!! OMG... the best pizza I've had in a long time!!!!
My least favorite restaurant was Arizona, but my husband liked it. We did go to Sapodillas one night and enjoyed the fancier meal. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food. It is not gourmet, but very good.
We felt that about 99% of the people working at Beaches were very FRIENDLY and helpful. We did not have any problem getting some snorkeling gears, no wait whatsoever and very good...I just spent 1 week at Beaches T&C with my husband and my 2 young daughters aged 4 and 10 mos.

Our 2 kiddos went to the Kids' Club for a couple of hours everyday and LOVED IT. Well, my 4-year old had a blast. Every afternoon, she met with Elmo, Zoe and the gang and did a bunch of crafts or activities with them. My 10-month old was not too happy to leave me, but she got used to it. The ladies taking care of her were all very sweet. I am not used to leaving my baby with anyone (I am a stay-at-home Mom), but felt very confident to leave her at the nursery.
We didn't do much of the activities that were offered, just because we didn't have time! We were way too busy with the pools, waterslide and the beach. Then, we would have to be back in the room by 8.30pm to put the baby to sleep. We did use the nanny service one night (when we dined at Sapodillas). Trisha came to take care of our girls and she was extremely friendly and knowledgable.
We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite at the Parrot Cay Villas. The suite itself was very nice. VERY CLEAN. We had no problems at all with ants, bugs or whatever. Our bathroom looked very clean and we enjoyed the turn-down service everyday. Our suite had a seperate room where our girls slept (our baby had a full-size crib!). That room also had a microwave, a sink and a small fridge stocked up with champagne, wine, sodas, water, juices.
With the suite, also came the concierge service, but honestly, we felt that we did not need that service at all. So that was a bit a waste of money, although we definitely enjoyed the large suite and the extra drinks in the room.
Our big disappointment was our view. Our suite was facing directly the constructions of the new Italian Village (and the constructions were going on 24/7). The concierge service could have come handy then, but nope, they couldn't find us any other suite until 3 days into our stay. We decided not to change because the noise was not affecting our sleep in the morning, but the view was certainly NO FUN. If you get suite #611.... say NO right away!!! Before you leave and if you are staying in the Parrot Cay Villas, do request a room AWAY from the constructions. I wish very much we had insisted more.
The other negative was the temperature of the pools... sooo cold!! The ocean was definitely MUCH warmer!! The spa in the French Village was also barely to 70F when the temperature should have been 102F (as indicated).
Finally, do not, I mean, DO NOT fly with US Airways!!!!!!!!!! They are a MESS. Miraculously our luggage did not get lost, but a lot of people did not have theirs. Also our return flight was almost 3hrs late!!!! Choose Delta or American, they are not great either, but can't be worse that US Airways.
Would we go back to Beaches Turks & Caicos ????? YES!!!! Absolutely. We usually like to try new destinations when we travel and we rarely go back to the same resort, but this is one of the first time that we feel we would love to go back.
We're definitely going to wait until the new Italian Village and the new waterslide park are done though... it sounds like the new addition should be awesome!!!!
