Our experience here was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful and at an ok price point. Get the avocado salad, simple, clean tasting and super fresh. Portion sizes were large and the quality was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Puerto Rican food. Be aware that there is no sign, just look for the pink house.

I took my husband to this restaurant to celebrate his birthday since I had heard great reviews and had been told that people waited in line for hours to get in. (They don't take reservations). The ambiance is noisy, terribly informal considering the prices. The appetizers were quite good ( poppers, smoked pork and cheese fritters) but the main dishes were quite a disappointment. My husband ordered a filet which was overcooked, I ordered a swordfish which was dry and accompanied by a supposedly tropical salad which was romaine lettuce leaves and some pieces of fruit and my daughter had a mediocre, cumin loaded, "picadillo". Ice creams were good. The service was good. The waitress was knowledgeable of the food and the wine list and we are served in a short time. I paid over $200 for a meal for 3. Definitely will not be going back.

What a disappointment. Visited last Tuesday with my family who was visiting from VA, since I'd heard and seen all kind of accolades for this restaurant. To start, as we entered the establishment, our first impression of the restaurant was extremely negative, as the waitresses and people who were sitting and gathering around the bar were not dressed nor were they behaving appropriately for a "family" restaurant. We were a party of four adults, an elderly lady and two children, and it was 5:30 pm. The appetizers were very good and arrived promptly at the table. The main course was a different story. Out of seven meals, only two were good. The children's plates were served 20 minutes after the adults'. All of the churrasco dishes (four in all) were extremely salty, as was the breaded pork. The quality of the meat was not restaurant quality. To say the least, we will never visit this place again. Ah!, and to top it all, none of the waitresses were wearing top undergarments. Pretty disgusting for a family restaurant.

But it is well worth it!

Appetizer was not on menu (Pic with squares). Fried pastry with seafood, herbs and not sure what else but very good: (pic balls were cheese fritters)

Meal was white fish over a vegetable ragout and was unique. Fish was cooked so it had thick outside but soft inside. Ragout was just the right amount of spices. (Pic with square and sauce). Other dish was a chicken and was told it was much better then we had a couple nights earlier.

Enjoy wish I could go back

This restaurant came highly recommended by some friends who are locals! It was incredible. Nothing was a let down - in fact - every meal had such a unique and delicious offering of flavours and textures! The staff were also incredible - going out of their way to make sure that we understood our options and that we were choosing the meal best for our taste buds!
