What an amazing place! We joined our friends at Villa Paradiso for spring break and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The property is huge with lots of room for our group of 15 to spread out. With the pool and beautiful beach just steps away, there's no reason to leave the property if you don't want to.
The main house and two cottages are very well appointed and maintained, and the staff is very friendly and professional. We also loved the food prepared by Chef Patrick!
Staying at Villa Paradiso is like being at your very own private and secluded resort, yet you are only a 5 minute walk down the beach from the action of the Riu resort, boat and jet ski rentals, etc.
We can't wait to go back!
We had an amazing stay at Villa Paradiso in early April 2021! The property is gorgeous and very comfortable. It was so relaxing, peaceful, and wonderful to be there. The chef, Patrick, prepared delicious meals, and sitting at the large table outside enjoying fantastic food while looking out at the beautiful view was a total highlight! The staff kept the house very clean and even did our laundry every day, which was much appreciated.
The property has it all - nice and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious areas inside and outside to lounge and hang out, a great pool with many lounge chairs, and a beautiful wide beach with more lounge chairs and even kayaks. There is even an air conditioned gym with workout equipment. This property has everything you need for an excellent vacation.
The house is perfect for an extended family or for multiple families. We were four families (with adults and teenagers), and there was plenty of space for everyone. We all had so much fun!
It was our first trip since Covid, and we felt completely safe. The staff followed all Covid safety protocols, and Jamaica itself felt very safe. The bus driver, Ronnie, was also terrific! He made getting to/from the airport easy and comfortable, and he was also a great tour guide.
Overall, I highly recommend Villa Paradiso. We will definitely be going back!
We have just returned from a week at Villa Paradiso where 16 of us had the time of our lives. The oldest member of our party was 80 and the youngest was 4 months and the villa met everyone’s needs. It exceeded our expectations, the staff became a part of our family and we have left with some of the best memories. My Aunty and uncle renewed their wedding vows on the private beach that comes with the villa and then had a reception for 100 guests on the property grounds. We are planning on returning in the future and we can hand on heart say that as frequent travellers to Jamaica this is now our new favourite place to stay as a family.
We were absolutely delighted to spend an amazing week at Villa Paradiso in Ocho Rios, Jamaica this last April. The setting, accommodations, staff and meal service truly made us feel like we were in paradise. The landscape at VP is meticulously cared for with beautiful flowers, coconut trees, a pristine beach, verandas to read or relax, and a gorgeous pool. Each bedroom had its own unique charm; we stayed in the Moroccon Room that had its own private patio and views of the beach. The house is airy and spacious with lots of nooks for conversation or retreat. What was most amazing and unexpected was the exceptional coral reef right off the beach where we snorkeled and saw dozens of colorful fish swimming in the surf!
As for our meals, we were truly pampered. Hot freshly brewed coffee awaited us each morning, followed by wonderful breakfasts that met everyone's palette including eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit platters reflecting a remarkable diversity, fruit juices, and of course more delicious Jamaican coffee. All of the ingredients were fresh and locally produced. For lunch and dinner we always had fresh and tasty salads, followed by an array of dishes we could choose from. As vegetarians, some of our favorites included callaloo quiche, yam soup, fried plantains, and a whole assortment of vegetables. For the meat eaters there were various shrimp, fish, and chicken curries, oxtail stew, and other dishes that were devoured.
We absolutely loved all the staff, how attentive they were to our preferences and wishes, providing freshly cleaned laundry daily, and indulging us with our endless questions about the culture, foods and unique interests. The kitchen staff prepared meals following our requests, and the transportation staff shared unique insight into the Jamaican culture as we safely traversed the island. Villa Paradiso truly lived up to its name, being well located to depart on numerous excursions, as well as a relaxing and luxurious retreat to come home to. We want to thank the owners and the staff for welcoming us to Villa Paradiso and sharing with us a little spot of paradise on this blue planet earth.
A vacation at Villa Paradiso near Ocho Rios, Jamaica is perfect in every way. The house itself is huge, beautiful, and tastefully furnished and appointed. It's right on the beach -- walk past the villa's private pool and in a few steps your on a beautiful stretch of sand.
This villa's staff of housekeepers, managers, cooks and a driver are impeccable. The house and grounds are always clean and neat, and the staff are absolutely delightful people to have around. Staff cleans the house daily, launders your clothes, and cooks delicious food.
This was our second trip with our extended family of 14, and we hope to go back again.
