What a stunningly beautiful place! Up in the lush hills above the bustling City of Kingston Tranquility estate is nestled amongst banana, mango and avocado trees. The views are breathtaking, the authentic caribbean food is freshly prepared by Lorna (an incredible chef) and is delicious. Tranquility estate is a fantastic base from which to explore this diverse and gorgeous island.

Lorna is an incredibly gracious and helpful host with lots of tips for what to do and how to get around Jamaica and the local area. Relax and read a book, take a swim in the pool, explore the surrounding mountains or take a culture trip down in to Kingston. TOP TIP. For a real Jamaican night out I'd highly recommend the short walk on a sunday to Dub Club for which Tranquility estate is ideally located!

Jess, thank you for staying with us, and yes, Dub Club is great tip, the walk back is always fun after a few Red Stripes!

Tranquility Estate is a gem of a place in the hills overlooking Kingston. Amazing scenery and plants, well placed for trips out to the hills and the sea. The accommodation is excellent, the food was amazing, and our hostess Lorna was wonderful. I would post pictures but my photography skills are not good and would not do justice to the venue.

Everything was fantastic from the B&B itself, home made food, location and of course the host Lorna. We had some fantastic breakfast and dinner with the spectacular views of the mountains.
The bedrooms are beautiful and well equipped while each also has a view of the mountains. The common area, living room is cozy and big enough for group travelers to lounge together.
Not only the B&B is beautiful but is located walking distance to Kingston dub club which only opens on Sundays but if you are lucky to be there that day it's a must go as the vibes, the music and the people is once in a lifetime experience. And the whole area seemed very safe.
Lorna was very welcoming and gave us some good recommendations for sightseeing as well!
All in all, if we are going back to Jamaica we will definitely go back to Lorna and her tranquility estate as we felt like home!

Tranquility Estate, what an amazing place! Lorna was the most exceptionally wonderful host and treated us like family guests, she cooked the most delicious food, made with love, using fruits and vegetables from her land. The house is stunning with the most insanely mesmerising view over kingston. Such a dreamy place we wanted to stay forever. Leaving was very emotional. Lorna thank you for making our trip so memorable, can’t wait for our next visit!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely, the apartment is on the lower level with a huge terrace
