We walked down to the aquarium restaurant from the grenadian by rex it only took about 10mins along the sand, we decided to go on a Sunday as they have live music from 3pm and a DJ before and after this,it was great.
The speakers are placed in such a way that you can still talk and there is room for a dance if you feel like it.
The whole place had a good atmosphere and the staff were quick ,efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.
On a Sunday all meat , fish is cooked on a bbq and there is a good choice, I had the swordfish which melted in my Mouth, for none meat eaters there is also alternatives, puddings were also fab.
Good choice of wines spirits etc if you are bored of the all inclusive choice at the hotel.
Yes you have to pay for what you have but I'm so glad we made the effort and went it was a great experience

My family and I had a lovely dinner at the Aquarium about a week ago. It had been recently renovated and everything looked beautiful. The service has improved greatly also. Since we live here in Grenada, we try to visit the Aquarium for dinner as often as we can. Two of us had the most delicious Lobster, and the other had the Beef Wellington, which was also superb. We wish that we had remembered to take pictures. The desserts were out of this world also - the Bomb Cake as always and the most creamy and perfect Creme Brulee ever. Thank you for a wonderful night.

We went here many years ago and were really looking forward to coming back. While the venue has been well refurbished and the position on Grand Anse is as beautiful as ever, the service was truly dreadful.
- When we arrived they had lost our booking (which was made by our hotel)
- After much consideration, they showed us to a table by the gent's loos as "everything else was booked" (this was about 8 pm and not many people turned up after us - and it was at best a third full)
- We said we were going to leave as the table was unacceptable - at which point, we were magically offered one in a good position
- We were then served drinks and bread - and asked if we were enjoying the bread - three times...
- Some time later the starters arrived- one was cold but by now it was a battle of wills and no way were we sending anything back
- Our mains arrived after we had chased and waited some more - we ate some, paid the bill and left.
- And when we got back to our hotel, we had to have a beer to get over the whole thing.
Don't bother until they sort out the service issues!

Having visited the Aquarium in previous years we returned last Sunday and booked to visit today. The one word that strikes me is inept compared with previous years. Our booking was lost and although the food was ok it came out at different times. The service was inept and showed that they badly need customer service training. It has a long way to go to recover its previous ambience and high rating.
