Description: Expanded and refurbished in September 2009, The Aquarium Restaurant has a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere, right on Magazine Beach with stunning ocean views. Fresh cocktails or lunch under palm trees, fine dining, relaxed lounging… a breezy dining room with two seawater aquariums, bamboo railings and leather couches, a river-stone lounge bar with funky rattan furniture, a new Koi-pond and waterfall from the natural cliff. Local fish carvings and 3D paintings reflect the tropical underwater scenery.

We recently visited the Aquarium Restaurant during our stay in Grenada. We were staying at the Grenadian by Rex so the Aquarium is just a shot 5 min stroll along one of the most beautiful beaches in Grenada!

The setting is beautiful - lots of outdoor seats, but also some in the shade. The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. My favourite was the callalloo cannelloni...melts in the mouth...very tasty!

The cocktails are also very good and plenty to choose from.

This is just the perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy the wonderful views listening to the sound of the sea and looking out across the turquoise waters. Feels like a little part of paradise. We would highly recommend it!

I can't fault this place. Their food was FANTASTIC and when they cooked the tuna that we'd caught it was just divine!

My wife and I had two lunches and two dinners here in October, 2011. We would have given them our return business even if we weren't staying at the related resort (Maca Bana). It is a little off the main tourist drag, near the airport, and about 5-10 minutes' drive from the Grand Anse area.

Aquarium occupies a surprisingly large open air space, situated right on Magazine Beach. The covered seating areas lead to beachside casual seating. It is a little upscale but mostly comfortable and unpresuming. You can walk into the casual area right off the beach still dripping sea water onto your flip flops, while the other tables may require that you at least be dry!

The menu offers fish, poultry, meat, and vegetarian dishes with a local influence. The lamb curry (on the lunch menu) was among the best meals we had during our eight days on the island. I tried three times to get them to give up the recipe - to no avail! My wife loved the fish soup. We also enjoyed the calallo cannelloni and a pork entree served in a spicy chili sauce. The pumpkin-ginger soup appeared on the menu of several restaurants that we visited, and Aquarium's may have been the best. The coconut cake was an unexpectedly original and delicious ending, and the chocolate soufflé will satisfy the chocoholics in your party. They have a good wine list by local standards, and of course Carib on tap.

Service was friendly if not sometimes slow, but consistent with what we experienced in other restaurants. We found that wait staff in Grenada do not want to rush you through your meal, and so at times you have to request attention to move things along if that is your desire.

Recommended.

The atmosphere is good, the food is excellent, the prices competitive, the service is 'island' but the walk up & down is similar to a black slope on a ski trail. It was worth it -- a must for all visitors.

The Aquarium is located in an amazing beach of Grenada. You can dress as you like, including bikini as the beach is right there.
On Sundays a Caribbean Band plays Regaee by 4 PM and for very reasonable prices you can enjoy fish or ribs with a great salad buffet .
Once in Grenada do not miss Sunday Lunch at the Aquirium, you will love it.
