Val greeted us very graciously with a sparkling drink and refreshing wet face towels as we arrived from our long day of travel. The beach house in the Seroe Colorado colonies offers a getaway from the daily, stressful grind. They have all the amenities you could need, including things you may have forgotten to pack! The house is immaculately kept and the housekeeper, Shenna, does a wonderful cleaning job each day. The outdoor area offers many places to socialize and relax by yourself or with your companions. In addition, there is a small, private beach to enjoy right in back of the house. Finally, there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby, as well as Baby Beach that offers snorkeling. Do not hesitate to stay here if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the ocean from your backyard!
From the moment we were greeted by Evelyn, we knew it was going to be a great vacation. The house was clean and even better than the pictures showed. Baby beach and Rodgers beach is within walking distance. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a beach right off your decks. Located just outside of San Nichols, there are many great dinning choices including Kaminis Kitchen ( try the curry) and Charlie's bar which is another must. You are just minutes from Zeerovers and the Flying Fishbone. Oranjestad is just a quick 30 minutes or so.
Six of us stayed in this home that was found by our friends Debbie K and Karen H. We (Don & Darlene) stayed in the room with 2 beds. Evelyn was our hostess and was truly delightful. She was there for us 24/7 with answers to any questions and took such good care of us. We were greeted with champagne, flowers, cold wash clothes, candy and enough food and beverage to hold us over until we could shop. The house was very clean, had several amenities and the views spectacular. It was on the quiet end of the island and close to many great restaurants and beaches. This house did not disappoint. We hope to visit again. Thank you Evelyn❤️
If you travel to Aruba, you have to stay here. From making arrangements, to leaving, there wasn't a need that wasn't met. We were sent planning details, maps and tourist tips. Our host, Val, met us at the unit and welcomed us to the island. We were two couples celebrating our 45th anniversaries, and he provided us with welcoming champagne and chocolates. The house had everything you could want, need and more. The location was ideal, our own beach! We were at the "sleepy end" of the island, but there were plenty of local, excellent restaurants. We hope to return to Aruba someday, and wouldn't consider staying any place else. A must place to stay.
We were given great, clear directions and found this treasure easily. We stayed for four days and had a fabulous experience. The house was well stocked with staples, immaculate and comfortable, no, luxurious. Elegant furnishings not overdone, and accommodating. I'd only seen such beautiful white sand beaches in magazines. The private beach is on a small blue lagoon with a reef a hundred yards or so off. We settled in and the place seemed to wrap right around us. We'll definitely return soon to this happy island, and we'll certainly stay here again. We took about a thousand photos of our trip, and they're on our computer's screen saver.
