Be warned, if you ever need to visit on a Saturday morning during Hockey season, the place is bedlam. Cars dumped literally everywhere making it impossible to drive in and out of and even worse as a pedestrian trying to safely navigate the car park. All the while theres 20 empty disabled spaces as they've over-provisioned so people use these as drop off spots now rather than what they were intended for.
Add to this the bedlam that is the barrier control by reception and you often find yourself amidst lots of disorganised chaos.

All that aside, there's a small (but adequete) pool with some run down changing facilities, a modern soft play, decent looking gym and lots more.
A nice local resource that could be much, much better with a few improvements.

Visited Go Play as an alternative to the park this week... It was an opportunity for me to read my book whilst my daughter and her friend played in a safe environment!
It's about 4.25 per child and I think it's one of the best play areas locally... Lots of tunnels, slides, climbing to do etc.
The only downside for me, as the adult hoping to sit in an air conditioned haven, is that there is no air conditioning. The place is hotter than Satan's ringpiece! I sat there at table, trying to read. It was like being in a nursing home, it was so hot. I felt all sleepy, couldn't read my book as my eyes were shutting! There were 2 fans near the table area, but for the size of the room they were pointless.. Looking at the ceiling, I didn't see any of the big aircon cylinders that you'd normally see, so this is probably the norm. I don't know why they didn't install this when they opened the place! So, if you want a kip whilst the kids wear themselves out, go here! Otherwise, stick to the park.

There is something for everybody here is you want to get fit. Easy to get to on public transport although it does involve a short walk to the stadium. I must say refreshments are not quite the same since they closed the cafe. Which used to be a great place to sit and wait for your children to finish whatever activity they are doing.
