Stayed here in a large beachfront suite with my family of four. Property is in need of a full refurbishment and is not well maintained. Staff friendly, cleaning also well, breakfats is great and well done. Pool area is pretty but poorly maintained..tiles are missing everywhere and the pool also is not well maintained.
Service outside at pool bar is sloooooowww.... and it became a bit of a running joke for us to start ordering lunch around 1030 so that we might have it around noon..
Good food though. Kids club not good enough, NO AIRCO that works AGAIN!...what the F ... people...kids need airco as well..
Found quite a number of things that i eventually discussed with the GM as i was so annoyed and he just gave a lot of excuses, this place is NOT in keeping with Okura hotels and we honestly felt ripped off at the end of our stay. Would NOT return as a staying guest. No effort was made to show any form of compensation of anykind...thats just not good enough when we spend nearly 6 M IDR in three days in addition to our suitecost..
Japanese and italian restaurant are very good (even though the ambiance and interior of the italian is horrible and 80's we were very happy with the food...)
In short; so much potential, so much poor management...too bad...they lost us as a customer..
