Excellent accommodation, friendly staff and superb breakfast.
Rooms and apartments are decorated colorfully and are clean and welcoming.
If they have time they even do your laundry!
The location in the village just behind the dunes is wonderful, their garden is secluded and beautiful, with enough space for everybody to relax, have a drink( excellent wines available) read a book or have a friendly chat with other guests.
And if you want to use the BBQ facilities you’re quite welcome to do so.
Also wonderful surroundings for walking, visiting the most beautiful beaches, taking surfing lessons or having diner in some very good restaurants

Stayed here for 2 nights while hiking the Fishermans Trail in 2019. The room itself is basic and quite small but if you have been hiking 20+kms per day who cares! The breakfast was outstanding and one that I will remember as being up there in terms of quality and just good freshness. The family vibe is lovely and relaxing and nice to enjoy a beer in the nice shaded outdoor area. We got our washing done here which was a relief as we were nearing the end of our 140km hike.

We stayed two nights.

Pros: Beautiful outdoor garden area to relax, listen to nice music or eat (outdoor tables and chairs).

Clothesline. Fridge for common guest use. Pleasant lounge area with books and TV. Nice indoor dining area as well. Free wifi which works inside and in your room as well as in the outdoor garden.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful, They know the area, are very friendly and helpful and are multi lingual.

The breakfast buffet is very varied and with very good quality food. The fresh orange juice is delicious.

Cons: Bedroom is quite small and there is little cupboard space. Twin beds/ soft mattress. The bathroom is small but modern and functional, although our sink plughole could not be sealed for washing clothes; the shower is quite small with only a shower curtain. Now air conditioning. No TV. No safe. No elevator. The walk to the beach is pretty but reasonably long over a sandy track.

In summary this is a fairly basic hostel but with lovely surroundings, very good food and it is a beautiful place to enjoy the surroundings. It has a lot to recommend it. I would definitely stay here again.
