I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone at Aro'a Beachside Resort. I was a guest in Room 8... for a wedding of a beautiful couple from Coromandel. Lucky for me, I didn't have to travel far for the ceremony or the reception... it was outside my door😍 The Aro'a Beachside Resort felt like home...and all the staff were like family, absolutely 💯 fantastic... from the owner Al, bar staff, cleaners, and the beautiful ladies in the office. Nothing was a bother, very helpful, and excellent customer service, I couldn't fault it. My room, a large studio, very well equipped with e everything you would need. Walk out of your room directly to the beach, great bar, and great food, too.
I am a long-haul flight attendant, and I have stayed in some of the most luxurious hotels around the world, but nothing beats being made to feel welcome every day. So, if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Rarotonga, you can't go past the Aro'a Beachside Resort. I give them 5 stars for making my stay such an absolute pleasure. I stayed here last week with friends and this was my first stay at Aro'a Beachside Resort. This place is right on the beach and has amazing views. The units are self contained with their own kitchen. The staff are lovely, especially the manager Lisa. She even helped me with the snorkelling. The beach is safe and a great place to snorkel, as it is near some reefs. Aroa Beachside Resort, has its own restaurant/bar. The food is lovely. I had a couple of dishes; the Fish and Chips (the fish was beautifully cooked) and the Chicken burger was delicious. There is a good range of drinks. The Pina Colada I had was reasonable at $15, while other bars charge $17 to $18. Lisa also organised transfers to the airport, which was very helpful.
I highly recommend this place, and will be my go to place when I next visit the lovely Rarotonga.

Great location on a beautiful beach. Al & Lisa are fantastic hosts, rooms are well equipped and comfortable. So much more welcoming than a sterile hotel. Whales & sunsets from the deck were amazing.
