We had friends staying here so it was lovely to come for an amazing sunset, great friends and a wee boogie on the dance floor. Beautiful friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure you had a good time. The ares were really nice and private.

we stayed here for a 7 night break and loved the place, as some of the reviews say the resort is looking a little tired in places but given the last 3 years I expect that this will be rectified as soon as they can get back on their feet with tourism now starting to return to normal. We stayed in Villa 4 and found it to be a little tired but well kept, clean and comfortable the only let down was the shower head that desperately needs replacement.
The staff on site are fantastic, they are all helpful and happy all of the time but particularly the Bar/restaurant staff - John, Ruth, Jone, Marz, Xenia and Sekove, all of these could not do enough for us and made out holiday so very memorable.
My wife and myself would most certainly return and are in fact going to book soon for next year.
Although we didn't stay here we did visit numerous times for thier outstanding Happy Hour Cocktails. These were incredible and were served in an awesome environment. These cocktails were yummy and were a great price. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed there sense of humor! If you don't go anywhere else on the island, this resort is in the top 2 cocktail venues around!

When we checked out of the property, we had a wait of 3 hours until our booked transfer at 1pm. There was a Raro Tours driver that turned up to transfer another couple at 10am. We asked if we could be transfered with them. The driver was downright rude to us and refused to take us. The reception staff noted this exchange and felt sorry for us. Lucky, who was a new employee on reception, called her husband, who was a night security employee at the same property, and had finished work that morning at 7am, and asked him to come and take us to the airport. As luck would have it, he was on his way to do the grocery shopping. We were whisked to the airport quickly. This is a great example of the"above and beyond " attitude that makes customers recommend others to stay there. Well done Lucky, you are a star.
Crown beach is a beautiful place to stay in Rarotonga. We stayed, as a couple, in one of the private pool suite villas. The accommodation was fantastic. Beautifully furnished, lovely outdoor seating, your own pool, outdoor shower for return from the beach and stunning interior design in the room. We had our own mini bar, separate toilet from the bathroom, double shower and a bath. We couldn’t fault the room we stayed in.
The food and beverages were delicious. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had in Rarotonga.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. However, Sam went above and beyond our expectations. Sam was always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you Sam for making our stay with Crown beach resort so wonderful.
The only negatives/improvements we believe would make this place even more beautiful would be improvements to the gym facilities and cleaning the overgrown weeds and beach front.
The gym has holes in the floor and the equipment is very run down. It’s a shame as it lets the rest of the beautiful resort down.
The beach front has a lot of glass and debris which could be groomed, like other resorts, to make it safe to walk on and make the resort look well kept.
There is also areas at the front of the “beach front villas” that need gardening attention. They are very overgrown and take away the beauty of the coastline and resort.
Overall we would stay at Crown beach again. It was beautiful and a relaxing place for couples to get away.
