We had a Villa and room, Villa was nice and big, serviced regularly. All the staff were very friendly. Frequented happy hour and the restaurant, nice cocktails with good food and good price. Activity Centre was great, near the pool to get towels and snorkels. Would go back here again for family holiday. Meitaki Maa'ta 😊

The staff are very nice location is good, great sunsets, the rooms are very dated but large and clean, room staff could not be more pleasant. Food was average and drinks a bit expensive but overall we enjoyed our stay. Although next time we would stay on the other side of the island for something different

We are situated on the western side of the island where we enjoy the sunsets in the evenings, sitting on the Marae Tai decking with a cocktail in the evening is a great way to end the day. Our housekeeping staff are a highlight with many guests staying with us and have a high standard of keeping our rooms clean and we will be sure to let our team know of your feedback. First time in Rarotonga and my sister & I stayed at The Edgewater Resort. Staff were welcoming and helpful the whole stay. Beautiful view from our balcony and thank God for air conditioning. Spent breakfast, sipping on cocktails and in between overlooking the Lagoon views which was amazing to wake up to every morning as well. Didnt get to catch the Island nights as we missed out on spaces but will definitely be back to fulfill that booking soon ☺️ Meitaki Ma'ata ❤️

Not usually one to post negative reviews but would rate Edgewater as average to poor.
Cheaper rooms then elsewhere but very expensive cocktails and wifi once checked in. Breakfast ok. Some staff were pleasant but most were miserable, looked annoyed to be there and not overly happy to help with queries/questions or even drinks orders at the bar.
Overall quite disappointing and wouldn’t recommend as a place to stay while on holiday. We stayed in far nicer places on the island for slightly more money and staff were so much more accommodating/friendly.
Rooms were also quite dirty here and could do with a refurb, even just a touch of paint would brighten the place up. Under the beg looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped since the place was built. Dirty hand marks all over bathroom door.

Just returned from a lovely family holiday staying in the Edgewater Resort, Rarotonga. Although the resort could do with an update, it served us well. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which had 2 bathrooms, a dining room, lounge, and kitchen. The swimming pool was divine, the buffet breakfast satisfying and a choice of 2 restaurants was very handy. And finally, the staff were absolutely lovely. Would definitely stay here again.
