Great hotel in a beautiful small town. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, housekeepers very nice. There is a pub/restaurant down stairs that serves breakfast to the hotel guests every morning it consisted of soft boiled eggs, fresh bread with meat and cheeses, a variety of cereals, fruits juices ect. In the evenings the pub is quite popular but would never know from the room because it is very quite upstairs. The restaurant serves wonderful food and the best beer we had in Germany. Their staff is very friendly, greeting us every morning and always looking after our needs.

On our way to Austria we chose to stay overnight in Germany.
With mixed feelings I write this review.
Did we know at booking the hotel did organize a big local festival at the back of the hotel,
we probably not have stayed here.
We tought it would have been more appropiate when this was metioned at booking.
This party did go on untill midnight with loud music, wich kept up awake. Not the overnight stay as we hoped for after a long drive on the Autobahn.
At arrival we we handed out our key, and were invited for event mentioned above. Wich was the least thay could offer anyway. Then everybody rushed out and went on with the event, leaving the hotel desolate and not welcoming to sit down for a meal, wich probably wasn't possible.
We walked into town to have a meal. Came back to the hotel and......waited for the music to stop.
Breakfast, reasonable, but o.k.
Room: tidy, simple, good beds, nice bathroom. Good for one night.
Location, alongside mainroad and roundabout.
Overall: Without the ''Party'' this could have been a average (but overpriced) stay, but it just didn't...it was less in the end, and we wished we did the extra 3,5 hour drive to avoid the above.
