We scheduled this while we were visiting Va. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We tubed down the river, and they picked us up and brought us back. Highly recommend them

My thanks to Frank at SRA. He is very knowledgable regarding the river, it's history and quirks. The river was up slightly and the 3 hr trip was done in 2.5 hours. A little whitewater to make it interesting but nothing a novice with Frank's guidance won't be able to handle. This was a relaxing and peaceful trip of around 7 miles. The Olde Towne canoe was in excellent condition and life vests and paddles were furnished. I can't remember the guy's name who drove the shuttle bus to the drop off but he knew all about the area and pointed out some nice bike rides when I told him I was on a Harley. These are great people and provide a meaningful and rewarding experience. I will be back.

My group of 7 had the BEST time tubing down the Shenandoah River! call ahead, reserve your group, show up, pay fee (not very expensive at all) decide how you'd like to go down the river... tubing, kayaking or canoeing. Once down the river, the "fun bus", will take you back up the river, so you can go down one more time. WE had a great day!! HELPFUL HINT... WHERE OLD SNEAKERS, THOSE ROCKS HURT AND POP THOSE KNEES UP WHEN GOING THROUGH THE RAPIDS :)
