It was breathtaking, viewing the golden rays of sun touching the various raised points within the Grand Canyon and even more exiting watching the sun recede and dark purple hue slowly spreading behind.
It was cold in DEC and we wore layers of clothing and gloves as well.
The sunset was around 16:30 hours.
Most of the visitors at the Grand Canyon make a beehive for Hopi point and so it is advisable to reach the point early, park your car and find a good spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
