Lots of different angles to see the canyon at this point.
A great place but it’s gotten a lot of attention as the sunset location and truth be told there are many places to see the sunset without a zillion people, even in winter when it is much slower.
This is a nice stop like all the stops but there always seems to be more people here than the other stops.

This is in the restricted end of the Grand Canyon which only allows shuttle service for most of the year. We caught the sunrise there as part of a tour of the area for sunrise. I enjoyed the setting, quite stunning and lots of photo ops every few feet. There were lots or early birds there taking the sunrise with me, but not too many.

Worth checking out this lookout. I enjoyed it very much, a little off the beaten path so not so crowded.

The shuttle stops there which makes it so easy to check out.

It was worth the scenic walk to this point. Each point is breath taking and beautiful. We kept walking from scenic point to scenic point in hopes to see the river. Hopi point is one to see it. From a distance you can see the rafters also in the river. Worth the walk and one of the most beautiful scenery.

The journey towards Hermits rest is so much more satisfying than wresting with the masses around the Bright Angel Lodge area. The views seem more impressive and you feel more one to one with the canyon. Go west my friend.

All of the viewpoints on the west rim drive have great views. The farther west, the better, as far as diminished crowds are concerned. Do not go without being ready to take great camera shots. Please stay behind the fence! People die every year at the Grand Canyon by going over the fence.
