We ate lunch here before catching our bus to the Denali Back Country Wildeness lodge. The place was quaint, rustic and no frills. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were similar to other locations with sandwiches between $11 and $15. I don’t know if it was because we were late in the season but they had run out of many items on their menu such as the Caribou egg and bison chili. They were also not serving entrées at lunchtime. The bison burger was tasty and the French dip was good as well. Both were served with your choice of french fries or tater tot‘s. Refills on soda were easy to come by. Water glasses were on the very small side requiring constant refilling. Others nearby were eating a pound of chicken wings as their meal. Two unisex bathrooms are available.
