We visited that beautiful spot on a busy Sunday last April. The garden terrace and the restaurant were packed full. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were treated to a nice table with the best view over Meran. The rotisserie was in full swing and a nice selection of barbecued meats were on offer. Everything we have seen was looking and smelling so tempting and as we could eat only so much, we decided to came back next day for more and to make sure we have left enough space for those amazing knödels! The Haidenhof is run by the family, so the quality of service and food is consistent. And the bill was pleasant too! Definitely to be recommended.
The Haidenhof is situated on the famous Waalweg trail, so it is a lovely stop.
