In the absence of international 5 star chains such as Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, this place is as good as you can get in Sapporo.
The hospitality is that of typical Japanese. Very courteous and polite.
The room was big enough for 2 of us and had a spectacular view of Sapporo. Has Japanese style bath with a deep bathtub and a separate shower area. They provide you with plenty of bath amenities such as toothbrush and razors. I personally did not like the towels — too thin for my taste, but I believe most Japanese prefer lighter weight towels.
We also went to the spa/onsen at the hotel, which was a nice experience.
The breakfast buffet was good, but not spectacular. It is a family friendly hotel, but it was a bit noisy with kids everywhere. That is not truly a fault of the hotel itself, but I would have liked to have a quiet section in the restaurant to truly enjoy the food.
The location of the hotel is great. Very convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the train back to the airport.
I would love to stay at this hotel again. More
