We had a pleasant lunch in a pleasant setting. Service was acceptable and the wine list has a good selection. While the food was not "wowing," it was good and satisfying. This restaurant is a good selection while exploring the Barolo and nearby wine areas.

Very disappointing meal at this restaurant. We both ordered pasta. Spaghetti ragu without much flavor and gnocchi with aubergine purée, burrata and sun dried tomatoes was the most bland thing I’ve eaten in ages. The purée was like baby food. Our waiter was very nice but the kitchen was very slow.

Lovely meal on a summer evening on the beautiful terrace. The pasta was fresh and the fresh truffle on top was superb. Great wine selection and plenty offered in half bottle for a solo diner. Staff was friendly & hospitable, even when I was one of the last guests to leave. Highly recommended.

We loved Osteria Cantinella - nice wine list, lots of options for food (even vegetarian), cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was perfect! Lots of locals here the night we dined - everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves. Would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I can recommend the homemade pasta with white truffle as something not to be missed, and it paired perfectly with some Barolo wine. I finished my meal with the panna cotta with caramel sauce. It was wonderful, and the sorbet served with it was a nice bonus.
