We enjoyed our delicious lunch made up of at least twelve items. All home made, and absolutely delicious! This is a wonderful family owned restaurant, and a must when you are in town. Three hours of tasting food and wine!

We had a delicious dinner at this trattoria. I liked the fact that there is no menu and the waiters just keep bringing local specialities. It started with soup and antipasti such as salad, vitello tonnato and local soft cheese. Then two kinds of pasta were served before the meat main course. Cheese, sweets and coffee finish the Piedmontese food experience. Service staff was very friendly and made us feel as if we ate at a friend’s place. Children are most welcome. I can definitely recommend this place!

This trattoria is a gem, cosy, homely, no fuss, several stunning Piemontese dishes.
There is no a la carte menu here. The restaurant offers a set meal; 7-8 courses are served and you can choose to taste or pass. Everything is tasty, cooked beautifully. The wine is very good as well.
We had 4 children with us and they fitted in well. I would definitely come here again.

We were introduced to this Piedmontese gem by a discerning Italian friend who'd told us there was no menu - that they just cooked whatever was seasonal & from the market that day. The room looked like any one of hundreds of trattoria in Italy, but no less charming for that. Basic furniture, simple cutlery, walls lined with old fashioned-cupboards, dubious art & excellent bottles of local wine. The place was packed with locals at lunchtime, anticipating the set feast. The hard-working, friendly staff were on a constant circuit from kitchen to tables; service ran like a well-oiled machine. The first of what turned out to be 8 courses, was a plateful of local cured salamis, little cheese fritters & a pate which tasted fish-like. Subsequent courses included wafer-thin vitello tonnato, shredded chicken salad, a creamy cushion of cheese with red onion confit, pasta with artichokes (we skipped as wanted to leave room for pudding), the choice between a huge platter of bolloto misto, a fish dish or beef in red wine, & a delicate selection of tiramisu, pannacotta, rosemary cream & chocolate cake. Everything we ate was impeccable, you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. It was hard not to over-eat because it was all so good. A carafe of dolcetto, digestifs & coffee on the house, ended a spectacular long lunch. We thought this trattoria was terrific & would return in a heartbeat.
